22 Paces Brewing Co began their operation in 2020 in the midst of a global pandemic. Why? Dunno really. Let’s just say there was a fair bit of down time to refine/tune/sample many many recipes to the point we decided that others should enjoy them too. Our passion has always been craft beer – and we’re not afraid to say it. As Kevin ‘bloody’ Wilson once famously sung….”Does your Dad own a Brewery…..?” - (amongst other lyrics!) - the answer was “No”. Well…..the answer is still No, however a bunch of other people have breweries and they let us use them!
Our focus is on fresh, modern beers, brewed in small batches to ensure you drink it at it’s best. Will there be a core ‘range’ at some stage? Most likely. West Coast IPA
"You should call him Alexander the Pretty Good" said Paul, our NICU Nurse. A puzzled look on my face, he continued, "Well, he arrived too early to be called 'The Great'".
The little fella doesn't know it yet, but he actually helped craft this beer back then whilst I sat by his side, day after day, night after night. One day I'll explain that to him. And he can proudly claim it as his own.
So here's cheers to the 'ATPG IPA'. It's bold in hop aroma, daring in bitterness - and most definitely 'Pretty Good'.

HAZY PALE
Now this is a beer that is surely going to be a crowd favourite....our Hazy Pale Ale There's nothing quite like hitting the surf in Tassie's freezing waters after a big night to clear the morning haze. Trying to capture that feeling in a can, we developed a super fresh Hazy Pale Ale perfect for jumpstarting your day. Bursting with massive amounts of juicy flavours, this smashable Hazy could easily be mistaken for a much larger IPA.

Red Ale
Seasons come and Seasons go - and no doubt we all have our favourite one, right?
So let's start an argument about that. However, no matter which season you prefer, you can ensure a well-balanced Red Ale will be your perfect companion all year round. Paying tribute to our very first Pilot beer, this Red Ale is deep in colour, subtle on the nose, yet rich in taste.
It will be sure to satisfy your mouth senses - rain, snow or shine. And that's just a Tuesday in Tassie!

We’re super excited to bring you our very first beer…the XPA! 22 Paces Brewing Co was created out of a passion for craft beer, so it’s only fitting that our first beer celebrates our early passions in life…. being a BMX bandit! This XPA certainly pays homage to both passions and hits you right in the feels. Whether you loved ripping a bunny hop, popping a mono, or racing the neighbourhood kids, let this beer of smooth goodness start flooding back those memories. With a ‘West Coast’ inspired style, the XPA is bursting with aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, while its malt character comes along for the bunny-hopping ride.
